EXP1: STAIRS SKETCHUP MODEL

My designs for the Staircases, were created by utilising the words 'Accelerate' (Revival Cycles) and 'Carve' (Steinway & Sons) for inspiration.

These were modelled in SketchUp, and textured with Metal (Scratched Iron, Steel and Brushed Brass) and Wood (Polished Wood and Floorboards).

SketchUp Model: Upper Section Staircase (Accelerate - Revival Cycles Design 1)
Chosen Design, due to simplicity and functionality.

Sketchup Model: Upper Section Staircase (Accelerate - Revival Cycles Design 2)
Unusable due to low height, required large amount of landings and treads, ultimately inefficient and wasteful of space.

SketchUp Model: Lower Section Staircase (Carve - Steinway and Sons Design 1)
Avoided due to complicated structure.

SketchUp Model: Lower Section Staircase (Carve - Steinway & Sons Design 2)
